Georgetown is a very good, seasoned ball club that will more than likely win the NAIA this season. Whats wrong guys, cant find anything to dog on our football team about, so you gotta start on the Bball team after a WIN in our FIRST EXHIBITION game?? :lol: :lol: :lol: As RP would say, I love it... You mean to tell me if UK had just won by 2 over a NAIA school, that you wouldn't probably be one of the first people to say something about it. I mean if we started saying it was a good win, I could see you saying something like wow UK fans must not have that big of expectations this year since they are happy with a 2 point win over a NAIA school. So dont just go saying stuff on UK fans, because if it was the opposite Im sure you UL fans would have done the same...:sssh: By the way though, I will admit that I dont agree with some of my fellow UK fans that say well they are NIT bound again. Because it was an exhibition game and without two starters, so this game really doesn't show much to how UL really will be this year...:thumb:

That's horrible news Surgalski could've been a big player on this years team after starting all of last year. That's not what the Herald-Leader reported on Sunday. Have things changed? November 2, 200619 yr I realize that. I was responding to OR's logic that UK fans would be howling if UK didn't beat G-Town by 20 in an opening exhibition game. Right... I realize that there are some irrational fans for UK (don't act like there aren't for UL either), which is why I was disagree with 2's logic that it was related to not being able to bash UL football.

I heard Ashland's radio voice ask for prayers for Mark Surgalski last Friday night during the football game. He stated he was having back surgery. I obviously made a very bad assumption that he would be done for the year. Thanks for clearing things up Jim.

November 2, 200619 yr Jeez people. It is irrational to draw the inference that a team coming off an NIT season and beats an NAIA school by two points may be in for a long year? If that is an irrational (never said it would prove correct) inference, then I have a bone to pick with some educators.
