Typical exhibition game. Sloppy, lots of TO's and missed FT's, especially by the Tigers.

Overall, good win for the Cards. Tigers are going to be upset because IMO they shouldve won but they should hold their heads high.

Could have been a big confidence booster if the Tigers could have won even though it was an exhibition game.

Its a big confidence booster anyway.

I called this several weeks ago when this game was announced. G'town is loaded this season. I thought they might give the Cards a battle.

How did Staed from Boyle do for the Tigers?

Didnt play

Very happy with this game...The freshmen got plenty of time to play tonight, and showed that they can hold their own. Caracter is going to be special...It'll be nice when we get Brandon Jenkins and David Padgett back...Good win Cards!

Wow, that was a close game! Georgetown really played them tough. How did Silverhorn do? I remember playing highschool ball against him. In hs he was really skinny, but now hes a beast! I bet this was a pretty entertaining game to watch.

Some Notes from the game:

-G-town is a very good and very experienced team. They have the type of team that could win a NAIA NC.

-Caracter is a load inside, and he knows it. You will hardly ever see him shoot more than 5 feet from the rim. He may lead the Cards in scoring this year if he works on his FTs.

-Tello still looks like he is recovering from the ankle injury. I have never seen a guy fall down so much. He hustles, but it just doesn't seem like his game is where it should be.

-Louisville will need a healthy David Padgett if they want to win anything big this year. Farley gives a great effort, but he came in as a project and is still learning. Huffman needs another year.

-T-Will has to score more for this team. Without Brandon Jenkins, he should lead the team in scoring. He had zero points in the first half.

-Jerry Smith looked good, he will play a lot for this team because he is a shooter and the Cards don't have many. Same goes for Andre McGee.

-Sosa is the PG for this team. He ran the offense well all night and really takes it to the basket. Very intense on defense as well.

Overall, It wasn't a bad game for the Cards. Being that it was an exhibition game, you have to expect close scores like this, and G-town is no pushover. Getting Brandon Jenkins back will be a big boost beacuse he is a senior and has been there before. He will take some of the pressure off of T-Will as well. Cards will struggle to start the season, but once everyone is healthy and the freshman get some experience I see them doing pretty well in the Big East. Time will tell.
