This is as good as it gets for Stoops. Senior laden team, best RB in school history, multiple NFL draft picks including a first rounder. If you can’t go all in on this team, then the ghosts of KY football has stolen your cards.

The ghosts of UK football will appear at least once this season. At least once.......

My head says pick Mississippi State to cover whatever the spread ends up being.

My gut says Kentucky keeps it interesting.

My heart says Kentucky wins it outright.

Who to listen to....? :idunno:

I hope the Cats can get the win but I think Mississippi State is a little too much, but not by a lot. I see a score somewhere around 27-20.

Mississippi St. 31-24.

UK keeps it close at home.

Would be great to see the Cats get this one. MSU is Loaded, the cupboard was anything but empty for the new coach and that's not usually the case when a coach leaves on his choice. Hopefully, the Cats can keep it close with a chance to win it in the 4th qtr. I do think that MSU is just too strong though. With MSU so good, I am just happy to say that we are all (or most) talking of a legit chance for a U.K. win in this one.

MSU by 7-10 pts.

UK by 10 at home.

UK by 10 at home.

There you go! BBN ain’t backing down!

Miles crushes Miss State heart just like Macginnis did two years ago.

Cats-27

Pups-24

I think the key will be wrapping up the tackles...don’t just throw a shoulder....and contain the running of the Mississippi State qb.

Cats by 7 in a slobber knocker!

Bowden has to make a couple of great plays for the Cats to win.

I am as happy as anyone that UK beat Florida and ended the 31 season losing streak. However, the Florida team they played was not very good and did a lot of things to hurt themselves. I hope the Wildcats continue to have success, but I am not even remotely convinced this team is a real Top 25 contender or of the caliber of MSU.

I hope UK proves me wrong.

I agree that Florida hurt themselves some in this game but UK hurt themselves on a couple of drives. If not for the 2 turnovers, UK would have scored more than they did.

I would love to see UK win and hope they do but they have a problem with a QB that can run. I picked UK but think that it will be MSU in a close one.

I love the way Benny Snell plays, but the best running back in school history might be a little too strong.
