Also please don’t be that guy or girl that says something crazy like, “x player got suspended x games for signing autographs and Urban only got suspended 3 games for this.” I haven’t seen it on here but saw it on twitter and made me want to throw my phone against the wall.

It’s not an OSU thing. It’s a Power 5, Big money, successful school thing. This would be as large of a story if it were Bama, Notre Dame, USC, Florida, FSU, Miami, Georgia, Clemson, etc.

So if Urban didn’t lie or do anything wrong, why did he feel the need to delete the text messages? Doesn’t seem like the actions of an innocent person with nothing to hide.

I’m almost certain my 3 year old daughter makes more sense when she talks than urban does. Then again, his meds might be why.

His memory issues just began. That’s an old article before he got on his meds which effected his memory.

I did not comment at all on the earlier threads on this. I was reading and could see the predictable direction it was heading and eventually ended. So I passed, waiting for the results and findings of the OSU / outside persons designated to go through the questioning / investigating process.

Now that the decision is in I will say that First of all, Urban Meyer was / is NOT the victim in any of this.. A wife was hit / beaten and she was the only victim...… Having said that, imo Meyer saved his job by following proper channels and reporting to his A.D. At that point it took it to the Admin. I do think that Meyer.'s main fault was blind loyalty. The asst. coach in question was the grandson of Earl Bruce. Bruce was not only a friend to Urban, he was as Meyer stated .. next to his own father, the most important influence in his life. Is jmo that Urban kept the man on too long out of respect for Bruce.

I'm glad we have a decision. Haters gonna hate and at least from my part they will do it alone.

Bottom line is that OSU is in very capable coaching hands until Meyer returns and I am ready to get to some football.

Which turns out this is why he wasn’t fired. Every sports writer in the nation, outside of Columbus, must hate the Buckeyes, because I haven’t seen one positive press article. I thought he wasn’t going to be suspended but after reading the report, I am surprised he wasn’t fired. There is more justifiable cause for firing in the report than I think anyone imagined.

 

I am sorry Buckeye Nation has to go through this. You guys be strong.

Crazy. A suspension makes no sense IMO. Either he did what he was supposed to do and is reinstated, or he didn't and loses his job because he protected a women-beater.

 

With the report coming out, stating that he did not follow protocol, a suspension is a joke. Oh well, just win baby.

How long until people are leaking his meds? Don’t do it friends, that’s a HIPPA violation.

 

HIPAA doesn’t apply to anyone other than Urban’s doctors and health insurance provider.
