August 23, 20188 yr I have still have some questions about the findings after reading the full report but any conversation we have on that would be conjecture and, let’s be honest, none of us are going to get anywhere with conjecture. My question is why the hell did this take almost 12 hours today? Good lord. This day was set up perfect since I was off work and would have all day to discuss this after I assumed the news would drop sometime around noon or early afternoon. Now I’m going to be lucky if I am able to get anything done tomorrow. Great. Rumors are that Urban was refusing to accept any suspension and had to be convinced to accept it.

August 23, 20188 yr Rumors are that Urban was refusing to accept any suspension and had to be convinced to accept it. At this point I don’t think that’s even a rumor. It’s fact. I could tell by Urbans mannerisms at the press conference he was ticked off. The other rumor I heard was that the board didn’t believe Urban should be suspended and President Drake did and that’s why the deliberations took so long.

August 23, 20188 yr Win at all cost is not the answer here. It doesn’t change the outcome but it wasn’t winning that kept Zach Smith employed it was 100% loyalty to his grandfather that kept him employed. Recievers coaches are everywhere. Hell, Ohio State replaced him with a better coach within 24 hours of firing him. It doesn’t change that Urban should have known about the stuff going on, but at least have the correct narrative here. If Zach Smith wasn’t the grandson of Earle Bruce, Urban likely wouldn’t have given him any benefit of the doubt. I think this is more about keeping Urban Meyer than Zach Smith.

August 23, 20188 yr Zach admitted to choking her didn’t he? He’s fully denied all claims. There are unsubstantiated screenshots out there but why weren’t those turned over to PD? Why wasn’t he taken in the night that allegedly happened? Too many questions, we may never get answers too. Her mother, the women who gave birth to her, refuting her claims is what really makes me think... “what in the world?”
