WOW. Impressive game by UK. I honestly felt bad for Coach Padgett.

Best performance of the year by far for the Cats. Point guard play was outstanding, and I loved the effort from start to finish.

Now let's hope the football Cats can pull off the sweep for Kentucky today!

Pleasantly surprised by the overall outcome. Out rebound UL, cut down turnovers, and play with an edge. A very nice belated Christmas gift.

What a haircut!

Very pleased with the effort today. I know no one is really sure about Louisville but to be up by 30 and still win by 29 over top caliber program is very impressive. Keep the effort up and the rest will fall in line

Could not have gone worse for Padgett.

At first I thought that Alexandra wasn't at the game. Didn't recognize him with his new hair cut....I really like it.

 

I love with the heart this team played with. Got to bring that each game as we are everyone's supper bowl.

Only way to describe this was a complete beat down. U.K. had a little trouble getting going but once they did, it was over. That's the first U.K. / U.L. game that I have watched (and that has been all since the series renewal in the ncaa tourney / 80's) that I have seen a team quit. I forgot the time it was in the 2nd half but U.L. players just flat quit trying to guard people.

U.K. put 3 players in double figures and imo the story of the win was that the Cats won the rebounding battles, out rebounding U.L by 8 I believe. Kudos to Washington, Knox and my "blue collar worker" Gabriel ....all pulling down 7 boards. Kentucky also shot better from the FT line (80%-76%) as well as from the field, a whopping 48%, holding U.L. to 34% and basically shut down the Cards 3pt. shooting. U.K. was better at every phase of the game, the Cats played harder / "wanted it" more.

 

No time to celebrate bc the Cats have to get ready for SEC play, starting with a good, well coached Georgia team on Sunday in Rupp.
