What coaching credentials did he have when he was hired at St. X? Had he ever been a head coach? Assistant?

 

He volunteered in 2004 at X, mostly working with the freshman team. Not sure how many years he did that.

Playing ability does not necessarily translate into coaching ability.

None to speak of. A couple years as a volunteer freshman assistant.

Wow, I googled Coach Lenti. I had to check and make sure I hadn't typed in Coach Glaser by mistake.

Any updates on the coaching search?

The job posting ended on Friday. They have 80 applicants, narrowing it down to around 20. Hope to have someone in place by mid February.

That sounds like a good response, although I honestly had no idea as to what to expect.
