So if things end up the way they could you would have coaches in the SEC:

Nick Saban- Bama

Jimbo Fisher- Texas A&M

Dan Mullen- Florida

Will Muschamp- South Carolina

Kirby Smart- Georgia

Gus Malzon- Auburn

Lane Kiffin- Miss St, Arkansas.

Ed Ogeron aka Farmer Fran- LSU

That would be a HUGE upgrade for the conference.

As a UT hater I hoped they hired Schiano. If I were in their shoes I would have done the same.

They'll never do it but at this stage I'm calling Les Miles.

Why did you want them to hire Schiano? You just not think he's a good coach?

Ole Miss has removed the "interim" tag off Matt Luke officially making him the new head coach of the Rebels

That was an easy one. It would be hard to make a compelling pitch to a coach without knowing what the sanctions are going to be. Plus Matt Luke has kind of overachieved with this team. Good decision by Ole Miss.

All but too of those guys are already coaches in the SEC? Would adding Fisher and Kiffin be a HUGE upgrade? Hell half of those guys are maybe above average at best to start with.

I don't. What has he done to make you think otherwise? His record at Rutgers is meh and he was a complete joke in the NFL.

You know what Rutgers was when he took over, right? To be around .500 for his stint there is nothing short of remarkable. That program was not much better than a High School team. In the NFL, yeah it was joke level.

He was a pretty darn good coach at Rutgers and there is a long list of good college coaches who couldn't get it done in the NFL.
