December 2, 20178 yr He’s one hell of a coach...Sure he’s a jack wagon, but what HC isn’t? If they can’t get absolutely anybody else then sure. But at the moment, Willie Taggert seems to be their guy.
December 3, 20178 yr According to 247Sports, Kevin Sumlin could be named the new head coach at UCF, today. Fired Texas school coach hired by a Florida school? Echo. Echo.
December 6, 20178 yr UCF named Josh Heupel their new HC. Arkansas is finalizing a deal with SMU HC Chad Morris. Tennessee has seemingly narrowed their list to Mel Tucker (UGA DC), Kevin Steele (AU DC), Brent Venables (Clemson DC), and Les Miles.
December 6, 20178 yr Jeremy Pruitt (Alabama DC) is a serious candidate for the Tennessee job as well. I think that would be a fantastic hire.
December 6, 20178 yr UCF named Josh Heupel their new HC. Interesting. Danny White has made some great hires since becoming AD at UCF, Frost, Johnny Dawkins, Greg Lovelady (BB), and Katie Abrahamson-Henderson (WBB). Gonna have to watch this one.
December 7, 20178 yr Nobody mentioned anything in all the clutter (or I could not find any mention), but Mississippi State named Penn State OC, Joe Moorhead, as their new head coach last week.
December 7, 20178 yr Author Nobody mentioned anything in all the clutter (or I could not find any mention), but Mississippi State named Penn State OC, Joe Moorhead, as their new head coach last week. Most underrated hire of the season so far. With what Mullen left behind for next year they need someone who could step in immediately and continue the winning tradition. Moorhead is that guy. With a healthy Fitzgerald, Miss St could be a 10 win team.
December 9, 20178 yr With Cristobal taking over at Oregon full time, what's left open? SMU? What else?
