The season for the Cards is officially over. If Lamar wasn't on this team, they would be seriously challenged to beat ANYONE. They pretty much are even with him.

Notre Dame's QB ran all over BC. I would have thought that Jackson could do the same.

I think Jackson had over 150 yds rushing didn’t he?

Lamar and a bunch of dudes. Petrino has never grasped the concept of recruiting depth at positions. If UofL can ever aspire to be able to threaten the big dogs, things can't fall apart with a couple of injuries, even if it's to good/great players. We've seen this movie before.

Jackson had 500 yards of offense - now the only ACC player with 3 500 yard games.

Reggie Bonnafon had a great run for the first Louisville score.

Dez Fitzpatrick had a circus catch that would have worked in the NFL (both feet) for a TD.

Then there is the defense (or lack of)....

The only defensive highlight was TreSean Smith's end zone interception that bailed out the defense from another BC score in the first half.

The offense comes out of the gate poorly but the defense is the problem. Especially after half time. I know there were a lot of freshmen playing today. But the execution was not there at all. At this stage of the season this should not be the case.

Go UofL (University of Lamar)!

LOL, right?!!

This game reminded me of the UK game last year. Just when you’re fairly confident you’ve got the game in the bag, someone drops the ball. The defense/watching the missed tackles was excruciating, questionable coaching.

The remainder of the season…. Yikes!

180 - and would have had more without the hesitations from the "be a pocket passer" voices that must be in his head.

He had 330 passing. Some good long passes and the receivers dropped a few they should not have.

He will not get the Heisman but he still one of the best players in college football this year.

Grantham > Sirman.

UL is a historically bad tackling team. Lamar Jackson almost won the game by himself the last quarter. Petrino needs to cut him loose the whole game.

Boston College must have had that we will shut everyone down, but the talented athlete playing quarterback and it worked.

Pretty much sums it up.

I'm sure that's gotta be a struggle for Jackson, as far as trying to be a pocket passer. I am not a UofL fan by any stretch, but if he can't get it right this year I hope he stays another and get's a chance to showcase his skills(as a passer). The guy obviously has talent. I'd hate to see him not develop, go early and him fade off as an NFL backup that never sticks.

He will certainly get drafted as a QB but even if he doesn't develop he's way to good of an athlete to just hold a clipboard.

Somebody on this board last winter asked me about Sirmon and I said then you'll wish you had Grantham back.
