I didn't hear national championship in your argument at all. 5 years ago and 10 years ago. Give me a break. 5 times out of 17 is not good. This is fun. Okay, so if you don't win a National Championship in football you're "nothing but an afterthought"? Wow, there are some really good programs that need to be made aware of their afterthought status. Help me then, if you would, clarify when exactly were the UL glory days decades ago? Can you pinpoint those years for me that were so much better than their run over the last 17 years? Lastly, again, the great irony here is that I HATE UL. However, I hate inaccurate posts even more, so here I am, defending that team to the southwest of me that I loathe with the intensity of 1,000 suns.
