I was very shocked that Macke's switched back to Highlands. I thought they liked and had success at HC. Things change year to year, I guess. :idunno:

Probably not. One of the quirks about going from public to private or private to public the way it is currently being handled by KHSAA.

Kids can always say for educational reasons. I would suspect that most larger public schools can offer many more opportunities than a small private school.

I guess Tricia Macke reporting on the Highlands baseball incident from a few years ago is now long forgotten. I heard rumors that they were casually asked to not attend Highlands and her kids were given all kinds of grief because Tricia severely disparaged the school. Don't know if this is true or not.

 

Old news and they have been welcomed back. This was mostly and educational move as apparently some courses that they were told would be added and it never happened.

the good 'ole "educational move" (wink - wink) things seemed so much different just a couple years ago when Tricia was head coach of the freshman team ironically the same year her son was a freshman

If they have been cleared to play that is a joke, but then again Jenna Martin was cleared as well and she never moved either. Again it seems the same schools are mentioned year in and year out.
