Is this picture Putnam Stadium or Boyd County's stadium?

 

 

Either I am blind, or this is a trick question. I dont see either. :confused:

Would have to say Stadium of Champions for Hopkinsville/Christian County....perfect place for high school football. Plus personally...I love in any high school field that has the play clock on both ends so that the players, fans, and everyone else involved knows how much time is left before the delay of game penalty. Wish the powers that be make it mandatory that they be installed at all stadiums. Just my opinion

So does Prestonsburg's, but when we played there last year, it must have been on the fritz. It only worked when we were on defense. :confused:

Very nice, i took the virtual tour also, I personally like about Corbin's facility is thers is no post in the middle of the big turf field, the whole complex is a whole lot more open.

 

The posts that are somewhat in the way are going to moved over completely during x-mas break, the only reason why they didnt do it before the facility was "finished" this summer was b/c it was going to delay the whole opening of it's completion.... the posts are over on the side of the mens locker room, so that would've thrown things a little off kilter for the football kids.

Actually the reason I couldn't tell was because the pictures weren't showing up in my browser. They still don't, for whatever reason, when I use firefox. I checked them out with another browser though.

Something you don't see everyplace is the concession stand at South Oldham serves carrot sticks and celery sticks with ranch dressing. Very good for the parents of kids.

Wow, that Belfry complex looks great! The old field was full of rocks and broken glass (well at least when we played there). My vote goes to Belfry.

 

 

Just curious, How much money went into the new facility???

 

 

 

A little under $40 million.

 

As nice as the sports stuff is the school itself is fantastic on the inside.
