Bengals 28 Steelers 20

The O Line doesn't need work as much as it needs health. I still think Steinbach was a better option at C for this one, but such is life. On to the Pats...

Did anyone notice how many hard hits there were today? Nice AFC North style...

:thumb: LOTS of wood being laid today by both squads.

Maybe you need to watch more football; it's also hard to throw three INTs and win. Two INTs isn't so hot either. Carson won't exactly be setting the passer efficiency record on fire after this one. The Bengals won, but to say Palmer torched anybody today is out of the question.

And this is coming from a guy that had the Bengals picked and rooted for them.

I'd say game play matter, but even more so is the final score....

Is Willie injured?

You seem to be discounting the Ravens.

The Ravens are definitely a different team with McNair at the helm today. It will be a 3 team race all year long.

If you're comfortable with your QB turning it over three times DESPITE the win, I guess we look at the game a little differently...

EXACTLY.

It's one thing to be a Bengals fan and happy with the win, but to pretend that the TOs don't matter is insane. There are better offensive teams in this league than the Steelers, and giving them freebies (minus the gifts in field position Cincy got today) will mean losses on the schedule.

That's quite obvious...:thumb:

Well unfortunately not everyone can always see what's right in front of them....

Is Willie injured?

He sure didnt look right...

Offensively, many things need to be worked on...Defensively, I dont agree with you...

Agreed, if it wasn't for all the turnovers, I don't see either team seeing 20... When do people start seeing that maybe it isn't that Ben's hurt, but he really isn't very good?

Bye week will not help Pitt unless they use the time to improve their roster. 85 and 10? Who are those guys. 34? These are not the top players Pitt used to have at those positions. They're gonna struggle.

The passing game obviously is behind the running game. The bye weekend can help that out, when you consider Ben's health.

Haynes (34) has been a solid contributor and I believe that is the first fumble I've ever seen him make — I'll give him a mulligan. The return game is the biggest concern; everything else will work itself out.

I agree, but I don't see many teams on the Bengals schedule that will force the offense to look that bad like the Steelers did today.

We can't win ballgames with our OL playing like that. We got lucky this week.

The OL isn't 100% probably not even 80% but when you play a good defense like the Steelers they might as well be 65%,.. either way I'll take the W in stride...

I guess Bengal fans shouldn't be happy that Carson had 3 TO's but still went on the road to throw 4 TD's against the defending world champs..... somebody get Marvin on the phone we are NOT to celebrate Carson sticking in there and guiding us to a victory not with 3 TO'S!

Sorry, I do think Pitts D is good. Offense and special teams are not so good. I think a lot of teams will start putting more into the box to make Pitt throw. Pitt really misses Randel-L the Bus and still Plaxico who they never really replaced.

Just to rub a little more salt in the wound, A Randle El had a TD for the Redskins today. :D
