Other than Lofton who has UK missed out on that has been a star at the college level that is in state in the last 10 years? The state has to have good players. UK has two instate guys playing huge minutes. What more do you want? The game isn't the same as it was back then and never will be.

I would have 100% agreed with this statement if you made it 12 months ago. Today, I disagree completely. The career and program changing decision Drew made to completely change physically is obvious to every Norse fan. Fantastic year resulted. If Drew continues on his program, the next two years are going to be pretty exciting.

We have 1 player on this team that gives everything he has every minute, hawkins.

 

 

One of several reasons that I am so apathetic about this team. Easily one of my least favorite UK teams in my lifetime. This was the first time in my lifetime that I was rooting for UK's opponent to win. The Norse showed a lot of grit. They may very well make a repeat apperance next year.
