Scott 78 Campbell County 77 (10th Region Championship)

If you watch the video, you see Ohmer standing directly behind Pouncey. As soon as he sees the shot is off to the right, he breaks that way and beats everyone to the ball. I don't think it was "right place, right time" as much as it was just being a smart player.

...and Bertsch missed his box out assignment that allowed Ohmer to get the rebound.

The referees were the best crew we had all week. They did a great job. Talked to them after the game and told them so. They all agreed it was a great game.

Congrats to Scott and Ohmer for making that shot. Good luck at Rupp.

Great comeback by the Camels. Tough to say goodbye to some great seniors.

The only negative is that I witnessed (once again) a member of the Ohmer family flying double birds at the refs after a call. Come on! So unfortunate and a very bad example.

We saw this from the scorers table and we could not believe it. Does that always happen?

I thought they did an excellent job as well. They knew what they were dealing with last night; nobody got away with anything. They let the teams decide it all on the floor.

Remember what I told you last night about my ranking of 10th region fans?! :lol2:

Agreed on all the statements about the officials. Thought they were great throughout the tournament.

Didn't really miss his assignment, he went to box out but Ohmer was smart and quick to get to the ball. Lay off the high school kids for once

Ohmer finished the play to the buzzer - CC got caught up watching the ball.

TOUGH way to lose...

It's not the first shot that wins the game it's usually the putback. Remember last year against Augusta when Jake Ohmer's shot rolled off the rim? Oh, the irony.

10th Region POY makes "10th Region's Play of the Year"!.....mic drops....

Also, does it matter who the head coach is or do players just win games? Would Scott still win with last year's coach?

Cat doesn't get rattled.

He's building quite a legacy. IMO, he was underutilized when he played at NewCath. He should have been our tight end and would have been a good target for Brian Eviston. That could have made him hate sports, but it has done the opposite. He's run baseball clinics, voted top football official in the state (I believe) and now won the region in 2 different sports at SCOTT which isn't like doing that at CovCath. Couldn't happen to a better person. That is why he is so successful and that is why he walked straight to the opposing coach. That character trickles down to his players.

Coach Fromeyer is definitely a class act! :thumb:

The officials were horrible, Jake Ohmer is a dirty player....expected and right on cue comments so far from the losing team's fans both here and on FB this morning.

When you don't have a dog in the fight it makes watching a game like this much more enjoyable!

Agreed 100%.
