I would like to point out the Psychic abilities of @lawildcat. I watched pregame, as she used her soothsayer, visionary, clairvoyant powers to scan available seating, to position herself, and her assistant, (Mr. lawildcat) to be front and center for the game winning shot. Well done. :thumb:

Ohmer is unreal. Joy to watch play, hopefully he shows everyone in the state how good he is in RUPP.

I'd like to say that my powers were in play but honestly I just didn't want to sit by either team's fans! Great view of both sides! Now I know why @mcpapa likes the end zone so much! :lol2:

....he just likes it because it's closer to the popcorn. :lol2:

And watch Coach Fro in the videos right after shot is made fans and team storming court he never takes a step onto floor he walks directly to the Campbell Co. Bench to shake hands. First Class!!!
I must of missed that from the video, I saw all the coaches jumping up fist pumping celebrating. It's always easy for the winning coach to walk over and congratulate the losing teams coach. Just sayin lol

It's in every video I've seen, he has no reaction and walks straight to the Campbell Co bench to shake hands. No way I couldn't let any emotion out at all in that situation. Kudos to him.

Jake tried to draw a foul as he pumped fake to try to get Day to foul but referees did not blow their whistles and let the players decide the game, as it should be.
Watching the video, I didn't see a foul. He tried to lean into the defender but wasn't a foul. Good no call

If Scott succeeds in the tournament coupled with some high scoring performances from Ohmer don't be surprised by some offers he might receive. Talent wise I believe he's got a lot of upside.

I was refering to the video that was posted here and I will get the post. I also watched the video of the celebration and it was CC coach who actually ended up walking over to Coach F. Coach F started to the CC side but then looks like he stopped near the scorers table for something in this video, as he is walking toward CC bench he then isn't seen in the video again as if he stopped until the CC coach walks to him. I cold be wrong, just stating what I seen in the video. Although does any of this really matter? Great game, Great Shot and Great Celebration! Here is the video I was referring to

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is the amount of time Hegyi missed due to the cut on his chin. He had to come out twice for several minutes to get it treated. I think that was significant.

@pinknightmare this in why Bertsch isn't first team...team had lead Hegyi was in his corner getting treated by the cut Dr...CC couldn't ride Bertsch to Rupp. Great talent jus a little ripe.

On another video i saw where Fro stopped at half court. I believe he was waiting for the Campbell team to gather themselves. Tough situation for Campbell coach to help his kids regroup after that shot.

Here's my take, as a BIG Camels fan. Great game, disappointing, but a well coached, well played, well officiated game. It was a battle from the tip off, to the final buzzer. Scott came out of the gate with both barrels blazing. It was easy to see the Eagles were on a mission, and wanting to make a statement, to the tune of a 21 point advantage I believe. During which time the Camels seemed shell shocked. After the enduring initial Eagle attack, the Camels dug in and began to return fire, cutting the halftime lead to 12. To me it seemed the Eagles slowed their attack beginning the second half, while the Camels continued to cut into the Scott lead, and play their way back into the game, overtaking the Eagles. It seemed as though the Camels had thwarted the Eagles plan for victory. However, the battle was wasn't over, Camels are stunned by friendly fire in the closing seconds of the battle and the Eagles Jake Ohmer, swoops in, and launches the bomb to end the confrontation in this hard fought battle, and the Scott Eagles are the victors.

Good luck Eagles in the Sweet Sixteen, make the 10th proud :thumb:

Give me a break. You're saying this because he didn't score a bunch of points. Bertsch did tons of things right in this game. He was constantly getting doubled in the paint and opening up lanes for other kids to score. People talk all the time on here about kids being more than just scorers and looking at more than just points. All season long, Bertsch was a total team player, team leader, and was unselfish while still averaging 18 ppg. He is a first team all region player in my book.

But he's not more deserving than Wells? Wells lead his team to an All A State Championship and a district championship. Quit hating on him, Bertsch is a good player, just not better than any of the 5 players on the 1st team.

I didn't hate on Wells like you and Josie Wales think I did, never said a negative word about him. I said in the other thread that it's close between he and Bertsch. Again, I'd go with Bertsch, you would go with Wells. To each his own.
