Papa John's New Fee for Faster Pizza

Looks like by paying $3, Papa John's will bump your pizza to the front of the line:

Completely agree. I don't like the idea behind it, but it really doesn't matter because I don't ever eat that garbage pizza.

Doesn't impact me...not a fan of Papa John's "Pizza", in fact of the national chains it's by far my least favorite.

My wife LOVES Papa John's, so I get stuck with it about 75% of the time. Thankfully I take advantage of a carry out deal, so this fee is totally irrelevant to me.

Also, I don't get the hate for PJ. As for the big national chains, I think it's the best and not really that close. Now are there better pizzas out there? Sure...give me a piping hot everything from Buddy's pizza in downtown Frankfort any day. But they ain't delivering to my door and can be quite expensive too.

 

Also, if you do get one from PJ, ask for it "well done". That's how I get mine now and the pizza, especially the crust is better that way IMO.

As far as cheaper pizza goes, I'll gladly take Pizza Hut or Dominos over Papa John's. LaRosa's for sure too if it's in that category.

 

I think for me, I ate it so much in college. Every event on NKU's campus that provided food, had Papa John's, and I went to a lot of events.
