So, went out about 45 minutes ago and picked up and XL half pepperoni half sausage and mushroom for the office from Buddy's pizza in downtown Frankfort. IT...WAS...THE ...BOMB!

 

Buddys is solid. Enjoy it when i can in the capital city.

I don't think its been mentioned yet but Goodfellas pizza is by far the tasting pizza I have had. Or maybe that's just because it was located inside twokeys bar for closing and below wise guys in OTR. Some good marketing strategies.

Haha that might be accurate. I just remember loving their BBQ Chicken Pizza. Not sure I've had regular pizza from them.

Blaze Pizza is for real. It's probably good for me that there isn't one in Owensboro. We did just recently get a Mod Pizza. It's fairly similar to Blaze but about 1 step down. Their salads are really good, if your in to that.

You're right, @Baseball Nut 24 bought me a pizza at BB&T Arena last night.....and it was Papa Johns. If it's free, it's for me. :lol2:

Also if we aren't just talking chains Newport Pizza Co. is one of the best pizzas I had in NKY. Haven't been in awhile so no clue if its open. But when I lived in KY I had a place a few blocks away and I loved that place.

Really good pizza but IMO not as good as Strong's in Newport/Hebron or Noce's in Crestview Hills. Actually, my fingers are still a bit greasy as I type this due to finishing my leftover garlic and cheese pizza from Noce's . Outstanding.

I haven't had Blaze pizza, but the second part I like. . I haven't had a deliverybpizza in a decade or more. Too many great options here on Louisville to chain it.
