What can the 9th Region teams expect from 16th Region refs?

I can think of 2-3 coaches I'd ask before I asked Rick Chasteen.

15th is officiating the 14th and 14th is officiating the 15th. Funny thing is these two regions play in the first round of the state tournament.

The 14th Region has its lowest number of referees in quite a while. I heard the number was 24. I think they were well over 30 when the season began.

They'll work hard, let you play some inside and call it fairly close out on the floor.

Did the KHSAA mandate after 2010 that the 10th/11th officials have to go elsewhere in the future?

For the longest time the 10th and 11th, which is the Bluegrass Officials' Association or some such name I can't remember, would not swap with other regions.

If the state told you to swap I would assume you would swap refs

That and 16th refs doing a 9th game, very possible a Carter County team emerges victorious. Lol

I think I remember the 16th doing the 9th region a few years ago (unless it was the 15th) and a women ref was the best of the them. No idea if she still does games.
