Westminster Kennel Club dog show

Featured Replies

This could go in several forums. We'll start here.

It's on tonight (Mon) and Tuesday, February 14th. I'm a dog lover and own two boxers (not pure breds). These are some beautiful breeds.

I'm partial to the large breeds; boxers, bull mastiffs, and Akita.

What are some of your favorite breeds?

Labs! And I'm a big fan of Boxers as well.

I like the big dogs too and the beagles.

Westminster always back memories of when my dad was in ICU. Which ever channel carried it also showed past years back to back. I bet over 3 or 4 days I watched close to 20 hours of the dog show in the ICU waiting room. It was on every night over night.

I have a question, why aren't Boston Terriers in the Terrier class? We have two in our family and I'd classify both as retrievers. Those two love to play fetch.

Years ago I took a complicated quiz to determine the best purebred "dog fit" for me. It came up Vizsla.

I'd take the test over, unless you like barking, and a dog that will chase anything, deer, rabbit, butterfly, leaf. That being said, they are a super friendly, loving dog, just goofy

Golden Retrievers. Had to put ours to sleep this past August. Looking to get another one this spring/summer.

I have a lab, a mostly lab, a lab/pit mix and a german shephard. Recently lost our behemoth Boxer/Rottweiler mix.

They are all my favorite breed.

I am a mutt fan. No dog I've ever owned will ever win a show. That said, I'm abput 98% certain my little Buddy is a pure bred Havanese. But, he's like the Pig Pen of the Havanese breed. You fancy him all up, but by the time you get where you're going, he's a hot mess. :lol2:

I am SUPER happy a German Shepard won. I love that breed.

I'm partial to the smaller breeds. We have a Bichon Frise. Full of life and loves to play. Loves attention. His name is Prince William VI. When we filled out his papers we chose that name but when we got the official document back we saw that there were 5 other Prince William's already named before our Prince, lol.

I love the Portuguese Water dog, and no, not because our former president had this type of breed.

I want a whole mess of Beethovens, just in case my car breaks down and I need a ride to work.
