Hollowell hasn't committed yet but he'll go D1, Josh Wilkerson from Caldwell won't win the award but he's very good and he received an offer from Denver a while back, he may also go D1.

I thought this thread was for the list of players considered for Mr. Basketball, this is my reason for excluding non-seniors.

 

I believe the award they shared was 2 seasons ago, it might have been the top player in NKY... I can't remember for sure.

I have no clue who will win the 12th Region so I'm staying homer and saying Boyle County will win it.

 

Player of the Year in the 12th should be Noah Young of Lincoln County or Peyton Gover of Southwestern. I'd name them both POY if I had my way.

If Crawford gets to 3000, he wins this easy.

 

If the 10th Region POY isn't Ohmer or Hegyi there should be an investigation.

All I know is Hollowell is a top 5 player in the state talent wise, a lot of others have more potential due to athleticism and size but I think he can play at any school in the state with the exception of UK and UL. As of now I'd expect him to go St. Louis or EKU.

That's who I think the best team in each region is and who I'd pick as the POY. Sorry I don't know any players names in a couple of the regions.

 

Bold part is a no brainer for me for the 9th region.

3rd region ill go homer and say Apollo wins it, mostly because they have the best player in Zach Hopewell.

In the 5th region watch out for Kel Stotts winning POY as he has had a tremendous year.

As of right now, I'll go with:

13th - South Laurel

14th - Perry Central

15th - Johnson Central/Magoffin County

16th - Elliott County

I didn't realize the award was limited to only seniors so never mind on my POY thought then. I really like his game and think he kept that team going and playing at a high level when the injuries took place to the McNeil's. He gets mentioned "some" as a top 10 player in the region but I still think he is a little underrated. Key player for the Jags IMO.
