I agree, and I think Hollowell should get it, but Sebree will probably win it. He is the only senior going D1, and his hype the past few years has been very high, even though his production hasn't.

 

btw..Ware is a Jr, so he can't win poy. For that matter, many would say Hollowell isn't the best player on his team either, that would be Tandy.

Agree. I'm sure you've seen them all a lot more than me, but in what little I've seen, I haven't been overly impressed with Sebree. However, with his hype I expect him to win the award.

I don't know a whole lot about the 16th region. Porter was my first thought, but I wonder if he gets overshadowed some by Spencer?

8th- Williamstown, duh.

8th POY- I'll offer Jon Jump. Scoring numbers will not support this selection, but hustle plays and his improvement on D have given the Demons the extra possessions which allowed WHS to keep adding to the W column.

 

9th- Whoever is healthier between CCH and Cooper.

9th POY- CVH

 

10th- Paris

10th POY- Ohmer. Heygi and Bertsch are equally, IMO, responsible for CC's run and cancel each other out.

I believe Fern Creek wins the 6th and Chance Moore (FC) should be POY. I think Trinity wins the 7th Region and Jacquess Hobbs (Waggener) should be POY.

I think the 6th will between Moore and Hall, both are very good and Moore might get the edge because he plays on the best team

Hobbs is very deserving in the 7th but I think King will win it because he was impressive last year and plays on the best team.

Hollowell hasn't committed yet but he'll go D1, Josh Wilkerson from Caldwell won't win the award but he's very good and he received an offer from Denver a while back, he may also go D1.

I'll go with Cooper to win the 9th with Adam Kunkel as my Player of the Year.

I like the first half of your prediction, Kunkel will not be the POY.

He probably will not win it, I agree. I am just saying he would be my vote for it. I know most will go with the popular choices. CVH, etc...

Can't disagree with your thoughts.... the hurdle he can't overcome is being a Jr... I think this is only open to Seniors.

I didn't realize the award was limited to only seniors so never mind on my POY thought then. I really like his game and think he kept that team going and playing at a high level when the injuries took place to the McNeil's. He gets mentioned "some" as a top 10 player in the region but I still think he is a little underrated. Key player for the Jags IMO.
