BTW, the call on the punt that Beechwood downed at the CCH 1 was the right call despite the fact that the kid was touching the goal line. In high school (and maybe college), its all about where the ball is and not the body of the player downing the ball.

You know when the lights went out, I really thought they did it for the band (BTW congrats Beechwood, they are very good for such a small group) but when they didn't come on and didn't come on I thought for sure we just might see a postphonement..... and Oh BTW way I thought it was a forward pass too, you did see the didn't you, but the refs missed everything else tonight.

 

Great game again by the special teams and the "D". BTW got the word that the FG that supposedly Pop missed, was really good, from a channel 5 cameraman who said the FG was good. Now I was to far away to say good or not, just reporting what I heard.......

This score surprises me. I expected CovCath to win but not by this margin.

The same thing occurred in the Dixie game too. I wonder what the issue with their lights are? :confused: And halftime there seems to last forever, especially when it begins 3 seconds early.

 

As for the game, I really didn't expect CCH to shutout Beechwood. I expected a win, but not a 34 point rout. Beechwood will be just fine though. These tough games will just make them better come district play.
