It was a very ineffective speech. I am sure that it was well received by Trump's harshest critics, but I doubt that it won any converts to her cause.

I should also add that people like Ashley Judd would do well not to pose in provocative pictures if they want to be taken seriously as an equal among men. She promotes one of the very things she is fighting against. I have no doubt that this message would have been clearer if read by the young lady in Tennessee who wrote it.

I haven't read through all of the rest of this thread since my last reply, so forgive me if any of this has been addressed. But a one of the things I see posted is falsehood. As the Keepers of the Truth, one would think you'd do your homework. Pro-life protestors were in attendance at all the marches. What happened is that the pro-life organization New Wave Feminists was either not removed as an official sponsor of the DC march. I don't agree with that move by the organizers. But it is a lie that pro life marchers were not welcome, or that they were banned.

I think I'm OK with that. I am what I am, and I'm not ashamed of it, nor am I going to try to change it.

 

I think that despite the (presumably) best intentions, there is no desire on the part of anyone to really understand the viewpoints of those who believe differently.
