On one of the network news discussions, they said that initially the pro life groups were told no thanks, but later they invited them to participate. They only refused to let any of those groups be part of the "sponsorship" or "organizers" of the event.

 

I have no link, but that is what one of the talking heads said on Saturday morning when I had the TV on.
