Maybe I'm misunderstanding spin's question. Bring home one of the people, or come home sporting the tat?

 

Not that it matters a lot, but there would be a subtle difference.

 

Last night I hung out at a small local auction. Sat next to a guy, probably 50, with detailed neck ink. Much of the time I held his Boston Terrier in my lap.

Well, I'd assume that mcdaughter is a solid judge of character and you wouldn't have to think poorly of her selection. My point is that, like formerkytimberlake said, there's tasteful and prison ink. I get tons of them in here. And inevitably they have drug histories. Maybe my demographic is skewed.

Dang me an papa with the same taste on this offering .. I think she's a total hottie . Prettiest Tat's I've ever seen.

 

I've always thought she was gorgeous. Not crazy about the tats but I think it's her.

Not a fan, but there are things I had done in my younger years I wish I had not.

Was once at a conference for work and at the same hotel convention space were conventions for: Tattoo Artists, Southern Baptist Preachers, and Ice Rink Operators of North America. Talk about Diversity.

For the large obvious ones that you can't stop staring at even if you try---I am thinking that this person made a quick decision on the fly and now regrets it.

I used to tell my high school students that they need to think twice before getting tats. For one thing its going to be a road block in a lot of job interviews if the tats are in the wrong places, too big, vulgar, send the wrong messages, etc. I told them they're not going to be teenagers the rest of their lives and the urge to do something like that at this time may later be regrettable to them. And I always concluded my advice to them with the thought that a tattoo was not like buying a pair of jeans or a shirt that you later become tired of and discard. A tat is there for life unless you want to spend some big bucks to have them removed by whatever methods are available. It's a much bigger decision than what they think.

This doesn't have to do with riding around the lake in the buff does it?
