Why?

 

In my case, I'm a light sleeper and at my advanced age I don't need as much sleep as I used to.

Gotta get to the gym before work. Gym opens at 5 am.

Gotta go to work. Wish I'd logged on earlier!

Headed to Louisville to pick up step dad for Dr.'s appt.

I'm usually up at that hour every day. Got to get my bible study in before I start the day. Then get ready for work.

Night shift... had just went back from lunch.

No one just getting in from eating a greasy breakfast at a 24 hour dive after leaving the bars at 2:30 am?
