If it was your wife and kid in church getting shot for no reason, you still want mercy when your family received none? I don't. I had a childhood friend who was murdered by his crazy girlfriend. She shot him in the face, and then grinned as she told the police "I gave him the nose-job he always wanted", just before she danced around the interrogation room. Crazy and remorseless. Do I want her put to death? Not at all.

Until this guy is eliminated, I'd put before and after pictures of each person he murdered on the walls of his cell. Although a guy like him may consider them trophies so it may not have the effect I would hope for. I sure would have them propped up where he could see them when his time comes to be strapped to that table.
