That's tough news for the people hoping this was going to be Fournette vs. Jackson. So... ESPN and it's advertisers.

 

Count me among those who thing they have a whole stable of more than capable runners lining up behind a big, talented offensive line and the Louisville will still struggle to stop it for much of the game.

 

This still feels like that Belk Bowl against Georgia a couple years ago to me...

Guice is a stud in his own right. I just hate I can't watch Fournette again, in college. LSU is still in capable hands in the backfield, but Fournette takes it to another level when he is rolling.

Are bowl games turning into the Pro Bowl? Can't blame Fournette with all the money out there, but this begs the question, Do players really care about bowl games?

Not when you could get hurt so close to draft and you are a high pick.

Yep. Can't say that I blame them.

I still don't know what to make of this game. Our athletes have to match up well/might be better than what LSU has(especially with the Lamar effect) but I have to imagine LSU has a D-Line that'll give us fits.

 

On the other side of the ball, it depends on which defense shows up. Will it be the defense that gave up 41 in the last game or the one that dominated Florida State?

 

Both head coaches have something to prove, I just hope that this past week hasn't been too much of a distraction for the Louisville staff.

Louisville missing four starters and first back up on defense, so that's about how this one will go.

I just don't see a path for UofL to win this game. Hope they pull it out though.

Just keep it respectable.
