Who wins?

I hate this matchup. Tough opponent and my guess is that both these teams thought they'd be going somewhere else with two weeks to go in the season. LSU lost to Florida the same week Louisville crashed and burned against Houston.

LSU's defense will be a problem, but with almost a month to prepare, I like Bobby against almost anybody.

 

Plus, Kragthorpe is on staff at LSU. :lol2:

As a preliminary, the Russell Athletic Bowl had a chance to match up Louisville or Pittsburgh against West Virginia and they chose Miami.

 

Does that seem like a missed opportunity to anyone else?

Also hate that Louisville vs. IU hoops will be going on at the exact same time.

 

Hate that they won't play New Year's Day bowl games on New Year's Day when the NFL is playing that day.

LSU will have a decided advantage up front on both sides of the ball. If UofL can't handle that, it will be a long day.

Football is 11am and basketball is 12:30 pm.

This is the best non New Years 6 bowl game by far. Looking forward to this matchup.
