November 30, 20169 yr http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/canadian-police-deters-drunk-drivers-threat-nickelback-article-1.2891433 This is how you remind people not to drive drunk. A Canadian police department warned people against getting behind the wheel while inebriated by saying that those who do will be forced to listen to Nickelback on the way to jail. Officers in Kensington, Prince Edward Island, said on Facebook that those caught driving drunk would face criminal charges, a fine, a suspended license and a chance to listen to the Alberta group’s album “Silver Side Up.” “We figure if you are foolish enough to get behind the wheel after drinking then a little Chad Kroeger and the boys is the perfect gift for you,” the post said.
November 30, 20169 yr Ok, I'll admit it. I kind of like Nickelback. I saw them open up for someone else but I'm not remembering who it was. They put on a pretty good show and were actually better than the headliner as I recall.

December 1, 20169 yr I really like Rockstar and the rest of it is okay. I have never understood why so many people are down on them. I agree. I've never been a huge fan by any stretch but have never understood the hate. There is a LOT, and I mean a LOT, much worse than Nickelback.
December 2, 20169 yr What about those poor cops who have to endure it? I'm just going to presume they love it, because that makes it easier to accept. Otherwise, it's cruel and unnecessary punishment.
