Mexico That doesn't even take into account cars that are only partially built here like the Corvette. This isn't just a Ford issue. These companies aren't automatically bringing jobs back because of tariff threats.
November 15, 20169 yr We put a tariff on imports and other countries will do the exact same thing. We still manufacture plenty of stuff and won't be able to export it. Besides, what economy ever improved by making consumer goods suddenly more expensive?

That probably wouldn't be cost effective, depending upon the amount already invested. Future moves by companies will have a different Cost Benefit analysis and may keep jobs from leaving.

November 15, 20169 yr Side-tracking, not only was my vote against a horrible, no good candidate and for a bad candidate, I believe that Congress will keep DT in line. I believe there will be Democracts and some Republicans to keep him line. I do not see a tariff war starting. History shows that the long term results are economic disasters.

The low point was his statement on 60 Minutes about the Clintons being good people that he does not want to hurt. The first part of that statement is a lie and I am afraid the second part of the statement is the truth.
