November 9, 20169 yr Purely my opinion here, but... Black people didn't get out and vote for Clinton like they did BO, and rural white Americans got out and voted for Trump more than they did for Romney. Agree with all of that. I just don't think Obama played a huge part. Both he & Biden would have crushed Trump. I still think this had most to do with Hillary just being a terrible candidate.
November 9, 20169 yr Disagreed. President Obama's approval rating is extremely high. That's what I'm saying. Clinton lost even though the table was set for her to win in convincing fashion.
November 9, 20169 yr I contend of the candidates that were running, only Trump could have beaten her. The rest were for the most part, other than Carson and Huckabee, alot like her. Career politicians. She had a better chance to beat them as they are just like her, maybe not as corrupt, but MOST of America does not think like the far left. That was one thing that was proven last night. There were many different things that contributed to her losing, but her sheer corruptness was her downfall. She was everything that anyone should dislike. Look at the wikileaks. Look at Project Veritas videos. Man if I had been a Clinton supporter after those came out I would not have voted for her. Thats as corrupt as it gets. The race was not close in the end. Will he do a great job? I dont know. I can only hope. Think about it like this. He had never ran for any office. Never. And to run for the highest office in the land and mow down every challenger. That alone shows you how much the American people did not like the way our country was headed. Let that sink in. Even after all his stupid remarks, he killed her in the voting booth. The far left is not the majority and the American people showed up in big numbers last night and told you that. Listen close.
November 9, 20169 yr I agree with all of the above. The "basket of deplorables" spoke loudly last night.
November 9, 20169 yr It's easy in hindsight, but there were so many negatives that Hillary brought to the table. All the baggage coupled with the revelation that she and the DNC were in cahoots. The light turnout by the black voters didn't help. Middle America wanted change and were hellbent on it!
November 9, 20169 yr No, I don't. Purely my opinion here, but... Black people didn't get out and vote for Clinton like they did BO, and rural white Americans got out and voted for Trump more than they did for Romney. I think that is a good summary.
November 9, 20169 yr She isn't likable, she's been proven over and over to be shady, she's a woman and President Obama.
November 9, 20169 yr Bad candidate but let's remember that she did get the most votes. I bet if we search the files we will see Trump supporters saying the person with the most votes should be POTUS.
November 9, 20169 yr Bad candidate but let's remember that she did get the most votes. I bet if we search the files we will see Trump supporters saying the person with the most votes should be POTUS. While standing in line to vote yesterday morning, the two gentlemen behind me were vocal in their support for Trump & equally vocal in their disdain for the Electoral College.
November 9, 20169 yr While standing in line to vote yesterday morning, the two gentlemen behind me were vocal in their support for Trump & equally vocal in their disdain for the Electoral College. Should we assume their disdain was conditional ?
November 9, 20169 yr I think it had to do with her immigration policy on Muslims. The emails. Benghazi The Clinton Foundation and pay for play. Raising taxes on small business. Obamacare Being a woman. Her being shady and mean.
November 9, 20169 yr While standing in line to vote yesterday morning, the two gentlemen behind me were vocal in their support for Trump & equally vocal in their disdain for the Electoral College. Funny. We now have two elections in the past 16 years where a Dem won the popular vote and lost the Electoral College, yet I am pretty sure Republicans are more against the Electoral College than Democrats.
November 9, 20169 yr Lets not forget I think she lost the Evangelical Vote also. Nothing she could do about that though, right? She is a woman.
