One thing I think we have to give Trump credit for....

 

He said all throughout the primaries that he would put blue states in play that no other Republican could do. He won Wisconsin, he won Pennsylvania, he's winning Michigan, he's winning New Hampshire.

 

He reached out to the voters. This should be a lesson for both parties for the future.

It is satisfying to me to wake up to the fact that most Americans do not want to live in a socialist country and did something about it. And this has absolutely nothing to do with the demographics of the person representing the policy!

 

I couldn't agree more, and talk about furthering the racial divide. This is a terrible comment made at a very inappropriate time.

No one can speculate another candidate would have won convincingly. Hillary was suppose to win convincingly.

Trump won what Obama won. Look at the states. No racism here. I know alot of black people who voted for Trump, or said they were gonna. America was tired of the crap.

1) Trump ran a fantastic campaign 2) You don't need to have actual policies to get elected, you just need very broad ideas such as simply repeal Obamacare without giving specifics for what it will be replaced with, we're going to bring jobs back without really telling the american people how. You give the American people very broad tangible things to hear and they can understand it, people have a hard time understanding the liberal agenda 3) For the love of God, this wasn't an attack on minorities, this wasn't an attack on women, this wasn't an attack on the LGBT community, this was simply an attack on the liberal policies of the past 8 years that people were fed up with. Whether you agree with that sentiment or not, at least half of the country does. Half the country isn't racist, sexist, or homophobic. 4) It didn't matter who ran against Hillary Clinton on the republican side, she was going to lose. Joe Biden on the other hand was EXTREMELY likable and would have won against everyone except Rubio and Kasich 5) I don't care who you are Trump cannot be treated the same way Obama was, where the half who didn't support him are simply waiting for him to fail.

Actually most Americans don't feel that way. At least according to the Popular Vote which is probably a better gauge of the notion "Most Americans." We seem pretty evenly divided on the issue.

My guess is overall turnout is up. Trump has done that in every race. He has motivated the people who were disgruntled and felt disenfranchised to go to the polls.

 

I also think the African American vote will be down. That is somewhat expected since Obama was not running. However, I think when we compare the black vote to elections before Obama that Hillary did worse than previous Democrats.

I can't wait for America to be Great again.
