November 9, 20169 yr Author I'm not sure how this pertains to the links I posted at all, to be honest. 3
November 9, 20169 yr 3 Of The Most Outrageous Donald Trump Quotes Read it all. I did. After this one I did not click on the others. Reason I picked this one you ask? I was asking myself who in the hades is/what is Marie Claire and what makes them a expert on anything? Google can be like polls, very deceiving. You should have learned that last night. So you skipped the first two, that had racism in the title... Got it. :lol2:
November 9, 20169 yr Not sure where to put this so I'll put it here. That is a stunning picture considering the blue votes outnumber the red votes. Is there supposed to be a picture or something here, nothing shows up on my screen.
November 9, 20169 yr Author So you skipped the first two, that had racism in the title... Got it. :lol2: Yes I did, but not for that reason. I will however go back and read them too just so I am fair.
November 9, 20169 yr Yes I did, but not for that reason. I will however go back and read them too just so I am fair. Don't bother. Like I said, it's pointless. If you don't think he is racist, nothing I show you will change your mind.
November 9, 20169 yr Who isn't happy today? Gun manufacturers. Ruger is down 13% today. Who's happy today? Corrections Corp of America. Up 35% today. Yikes....
November 9, 20169 yr I always thought he would win for alot of different reasons. I seen or thought I saw the far left media bias. When I would talk to people even Democrats, other than the Democrats on here, they almost 100% said Trump has a real chance. They pointed out how bad Clinton was and these were women too. Last time the biased media mentioned it last night Clinton was only winning women 52/48. That was a huge deception the Democrats bought into that all the women would vote for Clinton. People did not take to the "Deplorable" comment. I had lots of people say I will show that lady( not exactly the word). Last week I felt even more confident. Was in Chicago for Nike meetings and talked to alot of different people there. I was shocked at the people that said when we walk in to the booth we will vote Trump. They did. What I think everyone should take out of this is that dont listen to the media. They are crooks like Trump as said all along and the real polls are the one thats conducted the night of the election. Three weeks ago I got so mad I self imposed a ban on this forum. I knew if I did not I would cause it to be shut down by myself and I did not want that for everyone else. Today I am back and would have been back if Clinton had won to eat my crow and say you guys were right. I like Trump, think we as a country need to come together and help everyone not just a few. That included everyone on here. There was alot of division even here, but its over. Lets move forward and like Rockmom says, lets try to make our country better. Im committed. I wish I had known you too put a ban on yourself, I left somewhere around 10/24.
November 9, 20169 yr Big winner yesterday: Weed For now. Trump has a lot of people that will likely be in his cabinet that are adamantly against the legalization of marijuana. Stay tuned.
November 9, 20169 yr Ok then lets get the guns out and fight? Whats your suggestion Clyde. The new civil war was started well before this.
November 9, 20169 yr Here's where we're at as a country. When Mr Trump gave platitudes about uniting as a country a supporter yelled "Kill Obama." That was a stupid disgraceful remark.
November 9, 20169 yr Author Don't bother. Like I said, it's pointless. If you don't think he is racist, nothing I show you will change your mind. No. I am fair. Both the others were commentary's. Are you saying as one of the articles did that if the KKK endorses someone that makes that person racist? ( Ill stand with you any day and fight the real racists). I can google and find the same crap on anyone. Trump said to the African American communities that he would try to help. Like it or not the inner cities need help do you agree? His delivery leaves much to be desired with that I agree. But lets make a deal. Lets see if he does try to help. If he is a divider, then lets vote him out. Ill make that pledge. But we have to look at facts not commentary.
November 9, 20169 yr Author I wish I had known you too put a ban on yourself, I left somewhere around 10/24. I did. Some on here I know personally knew it. Sometimes its better just to walk away till its over. Win or lose I was coming back today and either say I was happy or say I was very badly wrong. Its over.
November 9, 20169 yr No. I am fair. Both the others were commentary's. Are you saying as one of the articles did that if the KKK endorses someone that makes that person racist? . Haven't we already seen a segment of society make an association between a POTUS and a group that supports them ?
November 9, 20169 yr What do you suggest we do as a nation? You are a smart guy and I enjoy your posts. Usually well thought out. So lets hear it. It's a tough nut to crack. Ultimately the dysfunction is a product of the system we're in. Congressional districts have been gerrymandered to a high certainty of representation from a certain party so appealing only that base is all that's necessary to keep a seat. Proportional representation might be a solution. It forces parties to appeal to the greatest total number of people in order to gain a majority, not simply win a certain number of gerrymandered districts. In essence, parties would need a bigger constituency to succeed. It's what forced Lady Thatcher to declare that the "National Health Service is safe in our hands" during the 1980s and for New Labor under Tony Blair to align itself with a new economy in a shrinking world in the 1990s. One possibility.
