November 9, 20169 yr But lets make a deal. Lets see if he does try to help. If he is a divider, then lets vote him out. Ill make that pledge. But we have to look at facts not commentary. In my eyes, Donald Trump is a racist until proven otherwise. I am ticked off today, no shame in admitting that. I'm not going to be happy about it for quite a while, if ever. I am, however, going to give him a chance to prove me wrong. Both with his racism and the fact that I think he is going to put our country in a much worse place than it is now.
November 9, 20169 yr One major newspaper endorsed Trump. Ironically, it was the Las Vegas Review-Journal in a state he lost.
November 9, 20169 yr For now. Trump has a lot of people that will likely be in his cabinet that are adamantly against the legalization of marijuana. Stay tuned. If Rudy is the AG, legalized weed is the absolute last thing he wants. The illegality essentially gives police carte blanche for stop and frisk. The smell of marijuana is always reasonable suspicion for a Terry stop. It's also completely he said she said.
November 9, 20169 yr You misunderstood. We've BEEN divided. Why are we NOW suggesting we should come together? You know that answer.

Racist towards blacks or others?

November 9, 20169 yr In general. OK, because I hadn't heard or saw anything directed towards blacks that he'd been accused of.
November 9, 20169 yr This is going to sound sacrilegious to some, but if president-elect Trump sincerely wants unity, I think he should consider making a statement to the Senate to hold confirmation hearings on Merrick Garland. With that kind of olive branch I think many on the left start to give him the benefit of the doubt, and it makes it much more likely RBG eventually steps down rather than waiting out his term or dying on the bench.
November 9, 20169 yr OK, because I hadn't heard or saw anything directed towards blacks that he'd been accused of. Post 103.
November 9, 20169 yr Its a states rights issue anyways, thats where it needs to stay IMO. It's also already illegal nationally, just not enforced.
November 9, 20169 yr Its a states rights issue anyways, thats where it needs to stay IMO. Well it's not State's Rights, maybe it should be but it's not right now. It is still illegal by Federal Law, FBI/ATF/DEA could go to California or Colorado today and shut down every dispensary if they wanted to. I have no problem with it being left to each state, but currently several states are willfully breaking Federal Law.
November 9, 20169 yr Its a states rights issue anyways, thats where it needs to stay IMO. Yes and no. Marijuana is still illegal according to federal laws but the federal government has currently been respecting state's rights. There is nothing that states will be able to do if the federal government decides to not acknowledge the results state elections. The federal government can absolutely overrule the legalization of marijuana if they choose to.

Honest question, you were one of the posters that supported neither candidate correct? If so, would you be as upset if Hillary had won?

Welcome to the world many of us have endured for 8 long years. What comes around goes around. in 4, 8, maybe 12 years, it is likely that I will be in your shoes.
