October 30, 20169 yr Andre Smith, dare I ask it, pleas come back. 70 can't handle speed rushers. Bodine is bad, so if your RT and LT can't run defenders past the QB, there is nowhere to slide. I believe Andre is out for the year with an injury ... but I get your point. This team turned the corner last year. They missed their opportunity and now they are backsliding. There are so many holes in the dike there aren't enough fingers to stop the leaks. O-line can't protect; Zampese is calling plays with long patterns that require pass protection; Dalton chokes in tight games versus tough opponents; D-line not able to get pressure (good bye Michael Johnson, please); LB's are ineffective (if Burfict is not a stud playmaker get his basket case head and game off the team); Pacman is done; Safeties are confused; defensive coaches are confused; there's more ... too many holes in the dike to get it fixed this year. They'll need luck and bad play by Pittsburgh and Baltimore to make the playoffs.

October 30, 20169 yr Ok just got back, got some dinner and checking in. I will start by saying our defense sucks, you can't play let them catch it and then tackle, when you can't tackle. AD was pedestrian the first half, but they didn't have the ball that much. He was very good in the 3rd and 4th(the interception looked like Eifert stopped his route short. Overtime AD was ok except the fumble. Very frustrating team to watch. The game experience was very Super Bowl like (except the teams). Not very loud when 80 % of the crowd has no allegiance to a team. 84K attended, probably 10K Bengals fans, 5K 'skins, the rest were locals. Every NFL jersey was present. Wembley Stadium is huge and very nice. They call their security Safety Stewards. They had lots of security. The whole experience at the stadium was first rate. We love London and will be back when we can stay longer. As for the Bengals, I will probably not be purchasing playoff tickets because they ain't going.

He had Green wide open on a slant that if he hits green is still running and the Bengals run out the clock. ^^^^^ Mic Drop I will add also if he throws the ball where he was supposed to, inside on the 2nd down before he takes a sack on 3rd down in OT, we have the ball on the 20 at least if not a TD and game over. Instead he throws it to where our receiver has to play defender to prevent an INT and we end up punting. VOR has said what I have for years, Dalton chokes in tight games against good opponents.

I agree with eliminating ties, I just don't think ties are any factor in why the NFL is losing ratings/popularity. There are so few. I would love the NFL to go to an overtime format like that of college football. A topic for another thread, though.

Even today even though they barely had the ball in the first half Hill still managed to get 80 yds and Gio had 50. Then obviously Eifert being back is making it easier for Green and him. I know lots of people don't like college overtime, but its exciting and it doesn't end in a tie. Much better than the NFL rules.
