16thBBall Fan Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 What is everyone's thoughts on this one the Cats should win but you know nothing is certain with Kentucky football a win here and we should be bowl eligible.
Bluto Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 You're right, nothing is certain. But I feel pretty good that I will be able to gloat when I talk to my little brother (Mizzou grad).
WestDanville Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 UK on the road makes me very very nervous regardless of the opponent. I've watched too much Kentucky football to be overly confident about winning. This is pretty much Kentucky's Bowl play in game.
hrcarrier Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Kentucky can win, whether they will is the bigger question. Missouri isn't good, but it's on the road. If Kentucky wins Saturday, I couldn't see them missing a bowl.

LongTimeReader Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Beginning of the year this game went from winnable to not winnable, now its back to winnable...college football is a crazy thing. The biggest thing that UK has going for thgthgem is their running game, gives them the ability to control time of possession, which is huge for them. Defense has stepped up, and hopefully they can heal up before another physical game. UK wins 32-24
John Anthony Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Mizzu 4.5 favorite, I don't know if I like it. Miss St. was a sucker bet.

Bluto Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 The Mizzou team has GOT to be having attitude issues at this point. We need to take away any hope they may have left, and that means NO FREEBIES (turnovers).
Randy Parker Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Have to give credit to Stoops & the team. For them to win those 3 against SC, Vandy, & MSU....I get that those teams are bad, but UK needed to win all 3 and did just that. People are still dialed in with this team, which is a credit to them considering how the season started. I've been one to criticize Stoops & company, but we also have to give credit where it's due. They may not win but one more game all year, but for now, the team has really regrouped & is playing decent football. All that said, I like Missouri by a field goal.

The season started in the worst case scenario, but these coaches and players have rallied to give themselves a shot to play in a bowl. This may sound crazy, but if UK can jump on Missouri early, it could "get out of hand". Losing to MTSU last week doesn't feel, good, but then if a team is able to get up a few scores early, especially with pounding drives, it could too much for a team to take and all the air will come out of the team and stadium. ...but it's UK football so I'm sure it'll be a close game, that UK will WIN in dramatic fashion.
