I can't understand the negativity.

Me either, but glad it's only outside the walls of the FTC.

No way Kentucky wins this game, and this isn't one of my reverse jinx post.

Missouri 31

Kentucky 21

No way. Missouri is a dumpster fire right now.

Kentucky should win this game. But going on the road makes me nervous about it, it's going to be close. Kentucky has only won 1 Road game in the past 5 seasons, and recently if we win in SEC play it'll be with in 10 points, no blowouts. I'm gonna go with the Cats in a close one, But hoping we can pull away and win big with no worries.

Based on what? A close home loss to MTSU? Getting housed at LSU and Florida?

I'm telling you, UK fans are literally the Comedy Channel. One month they won't win a game, now a road game at Missouri should be a win.

The post-game thread on Saturday will be like the chuckle shack.

For your sake I hope Kentucky loses, that post game thread is going to be brutal for you if they win, and rightfully so.

I will be easy to find.

Regardless, the wild swings of fan-boy posts over the last month are ridiculous. UK wont win a game, maybe 1 or 2, now they win games they should have (remember, I had their record right 6 weeks ago as of now), they are world-beaters?

It is genuinely hilarious.

Nothing in there that isn't true. Although, having watched both play, I'm confident Kentucky is the more talented football team. Still think they'll lose.

Just think going out of your way to criticize and laugh at people for being fans of their team is a bit out of character for you, that's all.

Not mocking being a fan, loyal fans are great, mocking (probably wrong word, but i will run with it) the inability to see things as they are. Then and now. Wild swings based on singular outcomes.

I LOVE Nebraska, however, I've been honest about what they are and aren't in every post. They are losing this week and getting worked next week.

I want to double-click on this point because it is gnawing at me. I'm not trying in any way to be mean-spirited, just like when UK football fans were cliff-diving ("Stoops is AWFUL", "we won't win a game"), I'm just trying to provide a "no dog in the fight", non-biased opinion, to level the swings of emotion. Then, it was "hey guys, they aren't nearly as bad as you think, relax", but now it is "hold on, you probably aren't good enough to be calling any SEC road game a 'should win'", etc. They are a dumpster fire?

So, yes, I do find the crazy knee-jerk posts comical -- hilarious really. As UK football fans swing wildly from one side to the other, I just try to provide some clarity in the middle as they rush past me to get to another extreme.

Admittedly, @Bluto 's comment hit me wrong, and I don't give a singular care about Missouri football (heck, Nebraska used to kick them around for years in the Big 8 / 12), just seemed so condescending that I had to say something.

I don't think thinking Kentucky can or should win is outrageous. Missouri is terrible. Kentucky, as mediocre as they are, is the better team. All that said, I still think they lose, because it's Kentucky football and that's what they do.

And yes, mocking was a poor word choice. Hence the change.

I have blasted this team from their first game but not Stoops bc frankly no one has produced a consistent winner at U.K. and if nothing else Stoops can recruit and has brought some pretty good athletes to Lexington. Problem is that when Stoops got here it was like taking over the Titanic when water was already coming in and only a couple of life jackets. From absolutely nothing (maybe one or two SEC level football players)....building from the bottom of the worst program / players in the conference. YEARS are required to build a quality starting lineup, both offense and defense, special teams plus quality depth. Most SEC teams have 2nd team players that could beat U.K..

Having said, repeated all of my :deadhorse: statement on the U.K. talent plus depth to the thread question / prediction .....it's U.K. Football so it won't be a blowout or even comfortable win but I do think that the Wildcats get this one.

U.K. by less than a TD.

Missouri is garbage water.

Cats by two scores.
