I would love to see OSU not make it. However as this rate every team besides maybe Bama and Clemson will end up losing a game. So if they win out from here with wins over Michigan and then a Big 10 championship win, they will make it unfortunately.

 

Washington and Michigan will win out.

Absolutely no one for OSU to blame but themselves. A team has by far the best team, comes in to a game and just flat out does not play, the Bucks not only didn't play well, they acted like they didn't care if they were there or not. This was an embarrassment all the way.

No Excuses, Penn St. wanted this one more and went out and got it. Penn St deserved the win, outplayed in every way a team can be.

Should there be any true PSU fans on here ...Congrats. I would be happy for PSU had it not been my team they just beat. This win will do wonders for the Nittnay Lions program. Again, PSU Kicked our tail and deserved to win.

 

Hopefully, the Buckeyes can run the table, win the Big10 championship and still get a shot at a playoff bid. ....Go Bucks

Does the Big 10 not like Ohio State? Two straight road night games against teams coming off a bye. SEC would never do Alabama that way.

OSU was going to lose tonight, or in a few weeks. Maybe now Meyer will harden up and make some changes on offense. The best running back in the NFL tried to tell him the problem last year.

I haven't followed much and vaguely remember. What was Elliott's gripe last year? Not running the ball when they need to? It does seem like Meyer likes to "utilize" or perhaps ride his QB more so than the RB.

Meyer is a great coach, and will do a great job of rallying his team. I look for the Buckeyes to take off after this loss, run the table and still make the playoffs. They're still a very young team.

 

Michigan will be a big challenge for them this season, especially on the road.

I really wish I'd had paid more attention to this game. I was out with the girlfriend at a party and trying to be social, all while UK was in a close game, the Cubs were making the world series for the first time in forever and LSU and Ole Miss looked like a good game.

 

I caught the last few minutes when I got home but wish I'd seen more.

How has Barrett played this year?

In a Ohio State fan but I may give a different take than other fans. I haven't been real impressed with him as a qb. He's too inconsistent in the passing game for me and the offense seems stale more often than not with him if you ask me. Same as last year, he would be the spark they need and the next thing you know the offense just stalls. No way the bucks with the talent don't score more in these games, but they just don't.

 

Maybe I'm being too harsh on him because the OLine doesn't give him much time either.

 

Play calling has also been a problem. I got home after the Cooper game and turn in this game and the first play I see is Samuel breaking a 74 yard TD run right before the half and they say it was his first run of the game...what????? Yea he's a WR but he's a good RB also. Ohio State just doesn't use their rbs much and lean too much on Barrett's running which limits your offense.

Was not feeling well and fell asleep with Bucks up,21-7. Just woke up and saw the score on ESPN. Looks like the better team won last night.

Honestly, I hate nothing more than a person who was not on the field during one single play, who states that the boys didn't want it more or acted like they didn't want it it. Trust me......These boys WANT EVERY game! The game plan and execution wasn't in their favor and they got out played for the win. I'm not an OSU alumni or fan but I simply saw them get outplayed tonight by another DI team. It happens, don't say the boys didn't want it, because it takes more than 22 offensively and defensively to win a game. Out planned, out planned equals a loss. blame can can go many directions, pick your poison., but I trust that that boys want to win EVERY game!
