Assuming Trevon Grimes recovers fully by the time next season starts, he will be the deep threat we haven't had since Devin Smith. Dude is a beast. Tyson Lindsey will be a fantastic weapon for JT, Haskins, or Martell next year. Martell and Lindsey already have a connection due to being HS teammates. Those 3 coupled with either Akers or Dobbins (maybe, both?) will be fantastic to watch. Not to mention Demario McCall and Antonio Williams. But I agree. Terry McLaurin, James Clark, and Parris Campbell simply aren't getting it done right now. I'm not sure if it is the fault of Zach Smith, who I've been seeing get a lot of the blame, or maybe its like you said they just aren't receivers. Noah Brown disappears a lot, and Marcus Baugh doesn't seem to be on the same page with JT. Bottom line, get the ball to Curtis Samuel at least 20 times a game. He is the best running back and the best receiver. He has to get more than 2 carries a game and they need to run more stuff for him and Dontre downfield. Those are the only 2 guys who can get separation right now.

October 24, 20169 yr Watching some film from the receivers in this game, they looked bad. But there was an open read on just about every play. JT needs to have time to read it. Heck even on the deep cross to Noah Brown late in the game, Curtis Samuel who was his 3rd read was wide open for what I would have to assume would be a touchdown that would have put the game away.

Got both OSU and Michigan in the opposite division rotation and in back to back games. It's definitely hilarious that it's almost November and Michigan has only played one game outside Ann Arbor... and that was Rutgers.

It's definitely hilarious that it's almost November and Michigan has only played one game outside Ann Arbor... and that was Rutgers. That's true about Wisconsin too. But I just love how it sets up perfectly for Michigan to be undefeated going into the shoe. I'm really not trying to suggest that there is some conspiracy with Michigans scheduling, because I honestly don't believe that. But I wouldn't blame the Big 10 for doing something like that. Ohio State and Michigan is the best thing about the Big 10 and always has been. Michigan being completely irrelevant since the 90's is a big part of the perception of the Big 10 in recent history.

October 24, 20169 yr [ATTACH=CONFIG]58761[/ATTACH] 2 carries? :banghead: That is criminal. A threat like Samuel getting two carries is a joke. I think Urban should tell his offensive coordinator that if Samuel does not touch the ball 10 times in the first half, you are fired at half time. Get the ball to your playmakers...pretty simple concept.
