2005 Dixie alum Greg Preston went there for 2 years before transferring.

 

Where did he end up?

 

I believe he went to a D3 School somewhere and Minnesota and finished up there. If I recall there was a coaching change in Tennessee and the new coach change the offense to one that used an option type quarterback vs a more pro-style like Preston.

Not really sure what the confusion is. D1 is D1 so you can call it what you want and there are some strong FCS programs competing and beating some of those FBS programs. The only difference is the number of full ride scholarships offered 85 vs 63. Congrats to another NKY player getting an opportunity.

I still call it 1AA too but there is a #1 in front there if you look.
