Regardless of your reported role...is he done with football or undecided on what direction he is going to go regarding football / college opportunities?

My money is on 3Breds2B having more first hand knowledge of the situation. I myself am curious to hear of his decision along with a few other Breds that will be graduating this year.

At basketball senior night in his intro/plans I'm about positive it was announced he was looking at UK/UC/UL.

I don't know about his physicality. He willingly ran the ball, so it appears he has the mentality. I say that to say, with his measurable and athleticism, it would behoove a big school to take a flyer on him to play tight end. He is what the modern game requires at that position from an athlete perspective.

Good call mex. I think your post is spot-on. If he walked on at one of those schools, you never know what might happen.

Whatever the young man decides he should feel comfortable with. However, if no one is willing to give him an opportunity to play QB, if that is the position he truly desires, he might want to consider heading West and attend a JC. Being a product of that route it does work out many times for players to achieve an ultimate goal. It worked out for me and I ended up with a D1 scholarship and started from day one at my school. Walk-on situations are extremely tough but not impossible but if players can understand the "process" the JC route can be positive.
