Did UK actually cover?

Easiest cover ever to nail. This has Bama game of boredom written all over it.

Sort of fell off any remainder of the Stoops bandwagen in the first quarter after 2 plays - two good UK plays or scores.

One was after the FG to take the lead 3-0. The other was after a third down stop, forcing a punt by 'Bama. The TV camera went to Stoops both times. Niether time was he high-fiving the players or congratulating the players or pumping positive emotion into the situation. He just looked like he was mad at the refs or a player or another coach each time.

You are playing #1 and a big underdog. When your guys get some early big plays - rally around them, pump them up, be positive.

Rushing game was decent for UK. They gained the most yards rushing against Bama so far this year.

Rough day for Johnson, however it would have been a rough day for any qb for UK playing Bama yesterday.

Does anyone besides me think Bama's offense just doesn't look very good?

I'm not sure this is a super elite Bama, depends on how the frosh develop.

The Cats have got to get more touches for RB Snell. Makes no sense to me.

Yep. They are going to get by on their defense until the offense jells. Last year was similar under Cooker but they had the heisman trophy winner to ride until the rest of the team came around. Don't have that luxury this year.

He was really bad. Line didn't help him at times, though.

I'm not convinced the offense will gel for them. Ever since USC they seem to lack the ability to put multiple drives together and they don't have that typical Bama back in the backfield like you said. I think Bama is at #1 right now because they are Bama, not because they've proved anything on the field so far.

Probably because people understand that this is just about an annual occurance with Alabama. If you go back over the past few years they often just get by teams for the first several games and improve on offense dramatically by the end of the year. I do think the youth and rb talent may bite them this year along with Kiffin trying to figure out how to use the QB's. In the meantime they still have one of the best defenses in football although I don't know much about their DC.

I agree, maybe there is a valid reason, but I sure haven't figured it out.
