September 22, 20169 yr There is no place the old saying - that the most popular guy on the team is always the backup QB - is more true than at UK. I wish nothing but the best for Drew and Patrick. They both seemed to handle competing against each other as well as one can last year, which is a credit to them. I know Drew made a few bad choices last year, but I think they were way overblown.

Well the backup QB is very popular for Stoops right now, it's almost a valid excuse for missing a bowl for a guy who can't get to a bowl while owed 12 mill.
September 22, 20169 yr There is no bigger fan of Johnson right now than Mitch Barnhart. If Johnson plays well he could save Stoops' job, which in return would save Mitch $12-18 million.

Amazing how much hate there is about something that was not even said by the kid. Looks like you need to grow up and follow a thread with better investigative skills. September 23, 20169 yr Let's be real here. Johnson looked way better last week against NMSU than Barker did against FL. I think it's because FL and NMSU have similar talent. :sarcastic: Right. The NMSU game is an optical illusion. There's a reason he was the backup QB.
