Kent Phelps from Paintsville has to be in this conversation, he is committed to Wofford. As of last week, Kent was the 1A scoring leader with 54 pts. Currently he has 45 carries for 465 yds and 9TDs, 6 catches for 102yds and 2TDs.

How many Scholarship offers does he have?

 

Not sure this matters in determining who deserves to be named Mr. Football, or, who is better.

I'm gonna put in 2 names that probably won't get it but deserve to be nominated. Rex Hendeson of Butler County has been putting up stellar numbers at QB in both rushing and passing. Next is hometown guy Daniel Caudill for Edmonson County he has over 700 rush yds and 11 Rush TDs and ranked 2nd in the overall state scoring stats. He's a tough runner that never takes no for an answer. You think you have for a loss he will take you for a gain of 10. Watched both players get overlooked and I think they both need to be mentioned.

love the Henderson kid but one fact is clear Butler plays nobody but OC and still 2A sorry he is disqualified bc of schedule NOT his fault .If he can beat Mayfield in playoffs then that may change bit we all know that will not happen

Actually he hasn't, not that it matters

You can't fault the player for who they schedule. How's that his fault that he plays for his town? He's still dominating his competition.

Henderson would out throw any player The BG area can provide.

Remember biggest stat for QB is winning that being said also is the QB the reason his team wins .then stats saying that I will give you 4 QBs

3)Arnette(Mayfield )

4)Clark Payne (in my opinion he is the reason BG is so good we have seen teams take away Caruthers.)
