I think it would be hard to to automatically count Jack’s freshman season and take away his 5th year stats. Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t PT have 3 cancelled Covid games that year? I agree there is some potential asterisks that go along with these 5 year records but it’s not as cut and dry as just counting their true freshman year.

This is why you see professional and collegiate athletes sliding on breakaway runs when they could easily score…. Never pass up victory formation, I’m sure this will be the last time the Henderson staff makes that mistake.

I think you’re right, maybe the concession workers meant freshman games haha. At least 20 years since they’ve played on Varsity level. Lakewood doesn’t do much for St. Ed’s schedule.

I was one of the minority to pick Boyle, but I’d be lying if I said I truly EXPECTED them to win. I believed if the cards fell into place and they had some lucky bounces they were capable but I’m blown away at how they dominated the game. I couldn’t be more impressed with the performance they put on today and the way they represented the state. I think a healthy, fresh Boyle team competes with most any team. The only concern I’d have with them playing this level of competition weekly is how many 2 way stars they have. It would take a huge toll on them and be hard to stay healthy playing teams that platoon O/D. But if we’re talking “pound for pound” I’d say the list of teams better than Boyle is short and obviously none of them are in the state of KY. Living in western KY I see a lot of PT games and they have no shortage of ELITE athletes. I don’t think they hang with a healthy Boyle county team but as a fan of HS football I sure hope we get to see it this year.

Coach Joe was by far the best I’ve seen on the high school level at making Halftime adjustments. I like Coach Dew and played for his Dad when they moved from Mississippi, we will see how he handles it.

All 3 Verizon phones on my family plan showed 3 bars but wouldn’t load anything the entire game. But my wife’s ATT work phone worked fine the entire time. Signal blocker could’ve had something to do with it but there was definitely an issue specific to Verizon.

I can see not punting because the Defense couldn’t hold all night, but I’m not sure how you don’t hand the ball off to a power back like Bradley.
