We were unable to get on the air at the PT game this past friday. No one could get any page to load on their devices. We have never run into this before. 

We are not techies, but we are learning. Any suggestions as to what we could do to guarantee that we are able to stream wherever we are? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It worked fine for me with a few minor hiccups on Facebook live.

Suggestions, not really other than you need a strong wireless connection.

I had trouble loading BGP at the game, kinda weird.

BGP didn't experience any issues last night.

Right but I had trouble at the game to get it to work, sometimes.

That makes sense, both you and Red Helmet Video had issues at the same location. 

Too many people all on the same tower. I know most people around our area use Verizon and At&t. Fewer people use T-Mobile and they offer 5G coverage, unlike Verizon. If you knew someone who had T-Mobile use their phone or pay for them to have a wireless stream kit that offers wifi for your phone. (The first option would be better) I cannot guarantee this would work, but it’s worth a shot.

Internet connectivity came back, full strength, in the stadium at halftime. I suspect PT puts a damper on their campus for students trying to use their phones at schools. I know other districts do this. I think someone at PT recognized this and flipped a switch. It was the difference between night and day once that occured.

We were connecting through a verizon wireless data plan.

Verizon doesn’t have 5G capabilities either, while T-mobile and AT&T do. My guess is still that the tower was way too congested so they throttled speeds.

Verizon in Paducah has 5 G in selected areas of town. And my reasoning above has already been confirmed to me by someone within the Paducah school district.

Wireless hotspot? Graves County born and bred, and still can't believe how far behind the infrastructure for such things is in the Purchase Area. I've traveled through all kinds of back roads with the hotspot in my F-150 and never noticed any issues. 

All 3 Verizon phones on my family plan showed 3 bars but wouldn’t load anything the entire game. But my wife’s ATT work phone worked fine the entire time. Signal blocker could’ve had something to do with it but there was definitely an issue specific to Verizon. 

It’s also possible that the large amount of data being utilized by others in the same location caused latency/interference.  I have similar experiences at WKU football games and other large sporting events, when normally my connection speeds are fine in those areas.
