I agree with that, there is no reason for HHS fans to be complaining about Ryle "running up the score". We got beat by the better team, take it and learn from it. Hopefully this game puts a little bit of a chip on the HHS team shoulder and can turn things around.

It's funny how when a Highlands fan states a fact (we were without 3 OL) it instantly becomes and excuse. Oh crap, you almost got me lol, I even went back and was going to post you about a half dozen posts from HHS fans on here who were trashing their coaches etc. but I'm not going to play your game of calling people out with zero facts to back it up. I didn't talk about Ryle running the score up, I talked about how Highlands used to do just that and to simply own up to it.

 

About cooper game, you can believe what you want and I will believe what I want. I never once said Highlands wasn't better than Cooper this year. What I said is Cooper had more to do with that loss than anything. If you saw the game you would know what I meant. I never said Cooper should have won. I never said Cooper was better. Actually I never said anything of the sort. What I said was what I said period, no need to try and spin it any other way. It wasn't an accident that Cooper was up 20-6 or something like that If the 2 teams were to play again I would put my money on the Jags. I think what beat the jags more than anything that night was the temperature period. Doesn't mean highlands wouldn't beat them if it wasn't as hot and humid as it was, just saying I wouldn't bet my house on it.

 

If you'd still like me to stoop to your level and call out members on here on their posts about talking down about the HHS coaching staff etc. I will do it to prove to you we weren't making this stuff up.

Ryle coaches exorcising some butt hurt demons from seasons past as they on side kick with a 28 point lead and then go for 2 at 34-0 to get the running clock early. Not that I blame them for getting in their licks on HHS while they are able, but Highlands will go back to being Highlands fairly soon and then that little kid down the street will be taking down the big boys once again.

 

You tried to put up 70 but didn't make it. The hook and latter was well executed, but no need for it. Ryle should have saved that play for when they needed it down the road. I don't think I've never seen Highlands use a trick play, definitely not when they were up by 40. Birds didn't play good enough to win, enjoy it while you can. :wave:

 

Oh and by the way we probably could have put 70 up but they called off the dogs. You do realize your last Td was against the JV. You guys know you embarrassed teams when they were beat and ran up the scores. So take it like a man or take your football and go home sore loser.

You realize the hook and latter was the second or third series of the game, right? If a team doesn't give their boundry corner help when they have trips to the field, they'll run it again. And guess what...it'll work. They spotted a weakness in Highlands defense. Does it matter how they scored? They weren't trying to trick anyone. Highlands just needed to play more sound defense.

 

Was the 2012 game the one where Highlands was throwing post patterns in the 4th quarter with the game well in hand? Asking for a friend.

Wasn't garbage, was the truth. I didnt even know about highlands till I moved to Ky after living and playing in Florida. Just pointing out that your inflated view of yourselves isn't all that.

Just as I thought, nothing factual to add to the discussion. As per the underlined, what did running up the score have to do with this thread? Oh, nothing, you just felt the need to bring it in and stir the pot. I guess people should start considering reporting posts that have nothing to do with the thread.
